About this Book

This excerpt from my book, Asmara's Exciting Journey, is a children's book that follows the imagination of 6-year-old Asmara (Az-mar-a) as she takes her first trip to the local park. This book came about during a conversation with a friend, who suggested I write a story about her children, Asmara and Judah. The setting was inspired by my local childhood park, a place where my imagination was allowed to rome free, where I could create new stories and adventures each time I visited. Through this book, I hope to encourage children to be curious, follow their imaginations, and create their own adventures.
